Grid4Mobility: a project for studying smart energy networks

Dr Hervé Pabiou, CNRS researcher at the Centre for Energy and Thermal Sciences, Lyon (CETHIL), and Dr Hervé Morel, CNRS researcher at AMPERE electrical-engineering laboratory, are interviewed in Point2Bascule, the magazine of INSA Lyon, about the research conducted as part of the CPER research program, funded by the French state and the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region, called Grid4Mobility devoted to the energy networks of the future: see the article.

Grid4Mobility develops a platform for studying energy network management integrating buildings, storage systems, and electric vehicles. Grid4Mobility is a structuring and unifying project focused on energy networks that involves four institutions (INSA-Lyon, University Gustave-Eiffel, University Lyon 1, École Centrale de Lyon) and CNRS (French National Centre for Scientific Research). It brings together around ten laboratories in the fields of energy, automation, electrical engineering, materials, mechanics, data science, and human and social sciences, most of which are located in Lyon. Grid4Mobility is strongly supported by the CNRS engineering research federation IngéLySe FR3411 and the Carnot Institute Ingénierie@Lyon.
