CETHIL participates in the TIGRE project which invents the truck of the future
Creating the transport vehicle of the future is the ambition of the TIGRE project ("Technologies Innovantes pour Grands Routiers Economes"). Financed by the ADEME and led by Renault Trucks, this project should address the issue of road vehicles with low greenhouse gas emissions. A demonstrator, "Optifuel Lab 2", which integrates most of the project's developments, is now operational and was presented by Renault Trucks in September 2014. CETHIL has contributed to the design of heat exchangers of a system of valorization of the heat lost in the exhaust, while developing a new, more upstream, research perspective on heat transfer by boiling.See the press release on the INSA websiteSee the press release on the Renault Trucks website
