Prof. Jean-Jacques Roux awarded the André Missenard prize for 2024
Prof. Jean-Jacques Roux, Emeritus Professor at INSA and researcher at the Centre for Energy and Thermal Sciences, Lyon (CETHIL), was awarded the 2024 André Missenard Prize. This prestigious award was presented to him on October 1st at the Interclima trade fair in Paris, in recognition of his exceptional commitment to research and teaching in thermal engineering and climate engineering.
His works, particularly devoted to thermal modeling of buildings, have not only contributed to the advancement of scientific knowledge in the field but have also received widespread international recognition. This award also recognizes his decisive role in the training of several generations of engineers and researchers.
The award ceremony was held at the AICVF booth, in the presence of Lorraine Quentin, co-director of the Missenard-Quint company and granddaughter of André Missenard.
